I like books like everybody else. I used to read how-to-something books. They might be called self-help books. One day I semi-stopped reading novels, fictions. Instead, I started reading non-fictions, or essays. This is because I suddenly felt I should know more about real life, not just the life of imaginary people. Now I have a doubt about the effect of these printings. When I read them, I feel confident, I replace myself of a writer, and then time goes by. .......

The season is changing. It is time to innovate my room a bit. These are my idea: more cushions on the floor, mini green plants, moe white, warm taste mat near the entrance. A friend told me that it was very important to put a mat at the entrance, because it presents the idea of welcoming the guests. Mat means to warm something. A room should be something to be ready for welcoming the people including yourself!

I have to admit I get bored with me once in a while. Me, having same thoughts and same interests for my adult life. I have been an adult for certain amount of time. I had some ups and downs, and I learned a little bit about life.
One thing is you cannot expect what will happen to you, or you cannnot see your life improving. For sure, the changes will come to you. You just don't know when or with what. You will have another chance soon or later. Secondly, in most cases people don't listen to you whatever you tell them, so it is kind of a waste of time to talk people into doing something, or giving them some idea about anything. As long as it doesn't affect your interest, be short about what you say. Save your talking for the chance to negotiate for what you need. # by volunteer2006 | 2006-09-11 23:09
I found a new job which is the same kind of job I have done for relatively long time. I really like my kind job. This is something I like about me. I know what I like to do for a living. But then, the boredome comes over me. I think this is because I am not self employed. I work for a company after all. I can say the boredome should be replaced of something private, something money free, something with people in real life.

I know I am not a good talker. I really need to practice talking. I start speaking without knowing what I am going to tell, or without thinking. I just had a job interview a couple of days ago and it looked all right, but when I look back the interview, I realize it is acutually a semi disaster. So, I made the list for the next occasion: 1/seal my lips, count five seconds before opening my mouth, 2/pick up one simple sentence that people will understand, 3/ask myself the reason for my opinion, 4/explain the reason shortly.

What can you do to make your life simple? For me simple means spending less money. How can I enjoy my life without wasting money? Money is time, time is money. In this sense, the key for achieving simple life is time management. If you can make use of your time, you do not need much money to make you satisfied.

We may not believe that money makes us happy. Nothing promises us to be happy. When it comes to money, the more you have, the more you feel secure, as long as you can manage your asset. The book "Nice girls don't get rich" tells the importance of your concern about you and your earning. For the beginning, I have to change my shopping method.

Are you a serious person? Being serious isn't categorized as a good character of human being anymore. Looking serious is equal to "not funny", or "boring". We like unexpented things to happen. For example, small gifts, handwritten letters, gorgeous breakfast on the weekend etc....

Do you know a French movie called "Nikita"? There is my favorite scene. Nikita is a leading character and her boyfriend comes back their home with flower. I really like the way he presents his flower to her. At first he shows small bouquet at the door, and she smiles. Then he shows his second huge bouquet and comes closer to her. She just looks so happy. Flower could be the powerful weapon when you want to impress somebody important.

Hi, there! I was born and raised in Japanese countryside. Currently I live in an apartment in a city away from my home town. I am one of those people who are dreaming winning a lottery ticket some day. My family, they are very nice people. I can say I am lucky to have my mother and my father. Yet, I always feel pressure from my parents to compromise for my choice.
